*** Due to massive quantities of spam overwhelming the current support system we are currently in the process
of transitioning to a new system. ***
You must review these FAQs before sending an E-Mail to support. E-Mails asking any of the following questions will be ignored.
How do I add my own logo?
In version 2 you can enter the URL of an image in the Styles and Messages section of the Settings section of the admin panel. This image
must already be on the internet, you cannot enter the location of an image on your computer. The URL must be valid; if you enter it into
the address bar of your browser you must see the image.
Information about adding your logo in version 1 is available in : this thread.
Why do I receive a blank white screen with nothing on it?
This indicates that a PHP error is occuring but your webhost hides PHP errors. You will need to view the error log to determine what error
is occuring. If you do not know how to view the error log you will have to contact your web host to find out. If you receive the error on
an unmodified version of X7 Chat 2 while installing or immediately after installing it usually indicates that the server's version of PHP is not
recent enough.
I do not have access to the chatroom admin panel, how can I recover access?
For version 2 see this thread.
For version 1 see this thread.
Do you have any other translations of X7 Chat?
The only translations we have are those that are included and those in the Language Mods section of the website. In most cases the same language files are in both places.
Feel free to contact us by E-Mail if you need technical support or if you have any other questions, comments or suggestions related to X7 Chat.

You can also post your questions, suggestions and comments on our support forum.
- Describe the problem you are having in detail. Saying something like "I can't login" does not tell us enough to help you.
- If you have your chatroom installed online send us a link to your chatroom so we can see the problem which is occuring for ourselves.
- Include as much information as you can; things like your browser version, webhost and language can help us debug problems more quickly.
