I would like to have the posibillity to change the background of the surroundings... where the buttons are and where the list of chatters is. Thus not the chatbox where the text is put... I would place there pictures... I't would be nice if this could be done in the controlpanel of that room.

Thanks
Riny

You can change it for the entire server, but not room by room.  In the theme manage you can edit the style you are using and if you put "url(image_url_here)" (w/o the ") into any of the background boxes for anything it will use that image as a background.

I did the CHMOD to 777 of the themes directory and the following occured.  Needless to say that nothing was changed or updated.

Code:
Warning: fopen(./themes/x7chat2_alpha/theme.data): failed to open stream: Permission denied in [HOMESITE]/public_html/chat/lib/theme_creator.php on line 166

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in [HOMESITE]/public_html/chat/lib/theme_creator.php on line 167

Depending on your server you may need to first CHMOD the themes directory, then select all of the directories inside the themes directory and CHMOD 777 them, then enter the directory of the theme you are editing and select all the files and CHMOD 777 them.  Depending on your FTP client and server the files may not be CHMOD'd when their parent directory is, other FTP clients give you an option to apply CHMOD changes to subdirectories and files.

How about a back ground through it all with the chat and other boxes transparent?

My name is Latifah, and I'm a music producer. My biggest challenge is often coming up with new and creative beats for my music, and I often have to meddle with complicated softwares and tools that doesn't live up to expectations.
