Like I said, Zee Germans thrashed Maradona's men and sent them packing back home. Argentines were complacent before they came onto this field, they thought Messi can pull off wonders and will single-handedly kick Germans out of the world cup, but that's not what happened. Germans taught Maradona's men a good lesson, that Messi and his men are too little for the Mighty Germans.

I have to agree with you on that. Before this match all i was hearing was Messi will do this and will score so many goals etc etc. But to be honest he didn't even score a single goal in this world cup. Disappointing performance by the world's number one player.

El Classico:
No doubt he is the best club player but at international level, which is the most competitive level of football, everyone knows how he performed. i think FIFA should consider international performances before awarding someone Player of the Year. Club performance alone is not enough, I think.
